We are very lucky to have a large Garden at Little Weavers Day Nursery, There are lots of areas for children to explore and plenty of space if they want some quiet time.
Getting children outside in the fresh air and into natural surroundings is very important to us, We feel it plays a large role in children’s learning and development.
We have a hard play area for bikes, trikes & Physical toys .We also have a “Reading Tree”, Mud kitchen, role play area, construction area & sand pit.
The children take part in team games such as football and athletics which promote social & physical skills.
We have a fabulous Growing Garden where the children can plant seeds and watch the plants grow which forms part of our healthy eating and healthy body philosophy.
We use the garden all year round, enabling the children to experience different types of weather and seasons .
Our garden is very much an extension of indoors and has the same continuous provision to promote development in all the areas across the EYFS.
